It’s 1948 and the British are still present and active in Palestine. Bombs are hitting Jewish targets with alarming accuracy. For Israeli intelligence, insider information seems to be the only explanation.  Everyone is a suspect, especially Captain Meir Tuviansky, a Haganah veteran and former major in the British army who has retained many British affectations.  Based on a true story, this is a suspenseful, fast-paced trip into the tinderbox of the times, where in on June 6—just weeks after the state of Israel was established—Captain Tuviansky was accused of treason, supported only by circumstantial evidence.

“Evokes social questions on the misuse of power that are still very much alive today.”
