Mrs. G tells the story of Lea Gottlieb, the legendary designer, founder, and owner of the Gottex swimwear empire. Gottlieb was a woman full of contradictions, but she knew how to recover from periods of crisis. A Hungarian-born survivor of the Holocaust, she went on to establish a manufacturing facility in Israel and achieve phenomenal global success with her groundbreaking brand. This documentary follows Mrs. G’s incredible creativity and dominating personality, her complex relationships with her two daughters, and her unbridled passion, for which she paid a tragic price.

Director:  Dalit Kimor

“The first Israeli documentary about the country’s fashion industry, which was put on the global map by Gottlieb’s outrageous bathing suit designs and her use of wonderfully different fabrics, cuts and colors.”  Times of Israel
